Create "roms" folder and copy rom files:
1. Open File Manager
2. Click on "....put roms here". If you see a message that the directory is not found, continue with the next step. Otherwise go to step 7. 
3. click on ".storage" (does not matter which side)
4. press the menu button on the remote and select "Make new folder"
5. name the folder "roms" (without quotes) and click "Done"
6. go back one page and select "....put roms here"
7. On the opposite side open "....crabbyroms"
8. go to the system folder you want to copy (nes, snes, genesis, etc). DO NOT click the folder to open it.
9. Press the menu button on the remote and select "Copy". Choose "Yes" to confirm.
10. Repeat the previous 2 steps for each system you wish to copy

***You can copy the entire roms folder of "....crabbyroms" source to the root of a USB drive or SD card instead of the internal storage***

Install EmuELEC:
- go back to the home menu and open System > Addons > Install from zip file > Yes to continue > .crab > addons > emuelec.zip
- wait for the addon to install in the background. There are no progress bars. A notification will appear after it installs.

connect your controller of choice, open Arcade on the home menu and enjoy. You may need to map the controller buttons when prompted.
